How We Use Your Data
We need your name and contact details to perform our contract with you; processing and delivering your orders to you, sending you service emails, and to ensure fraud prevention and detection.
If you are signed up to our mailing list you will receive marketing messages. We only send these emails with your permission and will remove you if requested.
We need your payment information to take payments and to process any refunds to perform our contract with you. This information also ensures fraud prevention and detection.
To provide you with the best customer service and support we will most likely have a record of your contact history with Ellie Air Jewellery, potentially including past purchases, order-specific information (ring sizes, anniversary dates, etc). This information may come directly from you (the customer) or a partner, member of your family and/or friend(s) if the purchase is for a gift. This information helps us perform our contract with you and helps you use our website. It also means we can process returns.
We respect your choices as a customer, but if you don't want to share any of this information with us you may not be able to use our website or enjoy the online purchasing service fully.
Sharing Your Information
We do not and will never sell or share any of your information with a third party. If we need to in order to complete our contract with you, we will ensure that we have your explicit permission before doing so.
Your information is kept in a safe, protected database and can not be accessed by anyone outside of the Ellie Air Jewellery team.
Storing Your Information
We hold your information for as long as it takes to complete the contract we have with you.
If you haven't logged onto our website, or similarly opened/clicked on an email marketing message for 3 years or more your data will automatically be deleted from our database.
If you have signed up to the Ellie Air Jewellery mailing list you will receive a couple of emails a month. We keep your contact details to be able to send these emails, and are able to collect data about products you like from these emails to help provide you with a better experience.
If you would like to be removed from the mailing list you can use the unsubscribe button on any of the marketing emails or email us with your request.
You have the right:
- to be informed about how your personal information is being used
- to access the information we keep about you
- to request the correction of inaccurate information about you
- to request that we delete your data, to stop processing it, or to stop collecting it
- to stop direct marketing emails
- to complain to your data protection regulator (Information Commissioner's Office in the U.K.)
