Social Media Assistant
Ellie Air is an ethical luxury jewellery brand based in Dorset specialising in responsibly sourced gemstones and diamonds and Fairmined gold. We are a very small, inclusive and friendly team looking for a Social Media Assistant to help take our social media presence to the next level.
This position will be freelance, 16 hours a week and can be worked remotely though we do hope to have in-person team meetings from time to time in the future.
The Social Media Assistant will manage all of Ellie Air's social media accounts and paid advertising, keeping them up to date, responsive and in line with the brand's house style and current focus. We have a big following on Instagram and a significant percentage of our business comes through this platform so the Instagram account will be given particular focus and maintained on a daily basis (new posts, responding to comments/DMs, planning and creating content). The successful candidate will be communicating frequently with our valued customers so it's really important for this new team member to be friendly, respectful, kind and approachable.
In addition the Social Media Assistant will be required to suggest, plan, create and maintain social strategies for the Ellie Air accounts across Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok etc. as well as creating, analysing and iterating on paid advertising across Pinterest, Facebook, Google etc.
Applicants must be based in the UK and fluent in written and spoken English. An interest or background in jewellery is preferred and experience with social media management would prove helpful, though is not essential. Pay negotiable on experience : National Living Wage.
